I am sooooo ill its not even funny.

I have an awesome immune system, everyone in my family and friends etc for the last month have been suffering with this cold and I have fought it all off without a problem..... then a few days before fucking christmas now I am totally fucked!:banghead:

Got cough/cold/throat shit going on, great!

I know what it was though, I had two pissups out on the town last week with various friends and it's just trashed my immune system and let the crap in..... anyway I just wanted to rant about it!

So now I am meant to be out tonight for an Italian with my college friends but don't know if I can make it, and I'm not going to be able to go to work tomorrow (not really good as I have got some things I wanted to wrap up before chrimbo break)... so you guys aren't going to be able to get rid of me for a while! hehe.

Sympathy please?

    I was ill for ages and ages well a good week or two with the most awful cold/chesty cough and my dad acted like nothing was wrong, made me walk everywhere in the freezing cold and now he has a cold, well a sniffle and it is like he is dying.

    Fucking men can't get on with anything haha

    thats sucks!

    luckily i had my cold a couple of weeks ago so i`ll be ok for crimbo

    just dose yaself up, get in bed with a dvd n hot drink and chill

    Have been dieting but I dieting better than I have for months in the sense I've been getting a better spread of vits and minerals and a lot more EFAs - depressing!

    There is no way I am starting back training in the new year without gear now!!!!!!!! lol

    Home made orange/lemon and honey with a bit of brandy in it is my fave cold remedy. I also sometimes take echinacea for an immune system boost, and while it doesnt work for everyone, ive always found it helps me fight it off quicker, along with those probiotic actimel drinks, and keep yourself well hydrated :)

    Awww get well soon! I got my cold out of the way before christmas, but was ill for several christmas parties. So while everyone else was rolling around drunk, I was stone cold sober with a snotty nose. And they wondered why I wasn't my usual happy self! You have every sympathy from me you poor thing! Wrap up warm, lots of fluids and sleep x

    I had flu right after xmas in jan. This year everyones had colds but i've not caught it! I usually get whatevers going round. I've been eating more veg (especially broccoli) and taking vitamins, and exercising a bit more. I think it's helped alot.
