    From - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_lice

'Currently, fish farmers rely heavily on the chemical emamectin benzoate (SLICE) for controlling sea louse infestation rates. Many governments now impose limits on sea louse infestation levels on fish farms. The adequacy of existing regulations, and the environmental impacts of the use of SLICE are highly controversial. Public opinion is particularly polarized in the northeast Pacific where a moratorium on expansion has been lifted by the British Columbia government while the Alaska government is maintaining a total ban on salmon farming in its waters.'

i know, its shocking, i was talking to one mermaid, and she said they have started even looking up their fins! shocking! dirty buggers!

from what i have scanned, you can argue that it would not be unethical due to the trouble they cause to fish.

but then you could argue that it is, as they are a living creature...however, its not wholly classed as unethical to kill fish, so it cant be unethical to kill these.

The main problem with sea lice is that they multiply massively in fsh farms due to the fact that so many fish are kept in such close proximity.

I think fish farming (or farming any animal for meat) is disgusting... I also think that as animals, sea lice are entitled to a life.

Thus I believe that kiling sea lice is unethical.
