I've just had...

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
...the best ciggy of my life... Well not really, but it was a hell of a good one. I was really pissed when I started it, but by the end of it, I was well calmed and relaxed.. :)

So, to give this thread a point, what do you do when you're pissed about something to calm yourself down?

    Listen to music.
Go shopping if I can be arsed/have money.
    Bang/slam things down extra loudly.

If I'm pissed off then I usually make Mother Teresa look like Genghis Khan once I've had a hot shower and a brew :thumb:

Though for years and year a ciggy and a cold pint was my one and only solution.

I used to break stuff, but then I ran out of stuff to break. Somebody told me a teddybear and a hammer are good anger management tools, but never tried 'em. Half a pack of Marlboro reds usually does the trick these days...

depends whats happened, if its something like a broken computer i'll shout at it and call it all things under the sun, then i'll realise that shouting at an object isnt going to get anything done, so usually end up going out for a walk and a smoke.

Just lie down on my bed. A few minutes later, the anger usually goes away. Otherwise, i find long walks with music and ice-cold coke do the job. ;)

Listen to music, eat, go up to the downs for a stroppy walk, shout and swear at whatever inactive object is annoying me.

Shoreham (West Sussex). Tis a crap hole if you've never been. Which bit you from?

Never visited but I know where it is.
I'm from a tiny little village in between Lewes and Uckfield in East Sussex if you've heard of them? Like 4 miles away from the exploding fireworks factory in Ringmer.

I know where Lewis and Rigmer are so I know roughly where you are. I only say Brighton becasue its a nicer area. And people actually know where it is.

Lol Yeah I know what you mean. After I've been to Uni I'd quite like to get a flat in Brighton actually, one of the nicest cities in the UK I'd say.

Nice city, great atmosphere, but hideously expensive. I'm looking to move out next year and I just cant afford even a half way decent flat with the money I'm on. Tiny studios flats cost from £500 a month.

If you have a good salary or dont mind living out of the city centre you'll get something cheaper. That or find some mates a share a house, but from the people I know that do it, even thats expensive.
