peculiar tastes

I just took a sip on my lemonade, and it tasted a bit like baken bean sauce :yuck: which i detest at the best of times.

Do you ever eat/drink something that momentarily doesnt taste like it should? and why the hell is it like that?

    i once ate an oven chip which tasted like cow poo :eek2:
    dont tell me HOW i knew it tasted of cow poo - (cuz obviously ive never eaten it before :hyper: ) but it did! was soo nasty

    whenever i get to the bottom of a ribena carton, i swear it tastes like garden centres/soil. i've never eaten either of them but they taste like i'd imagine them to taste. :p

    I've had water that tasted like fairy liquid before. I wondered why it was bubbly to begin with, turns out my mum didn't bother rinsing the cup after washing it :banghead:

    This isn't a taste thing, but I once opened a can of mushroom soup thinking it was tomato soup, so got a nasty shock when it was grey and lumpy. I used to like mushroom soup, but not anymore :no:

    Not really related but i once had a glass of orange and it had a slug in the bottom and i drank that as well, so i guess it tasted sluggish.

    soma papaya fruit i got in a can from morrisons tasted exactly like baked beans. I hate beans and was almost sick. It was wierd- fruit texture and bean taste :(

    i did that for years before i got over it finally, it wasnt that bad looking back, ive had worse things in my mouth.
