    When I was really pilled up once, I had to ask my mate who I was talking to half way into a phone conversation with him cos I just completely forgot who the hell I was talking to. :lol:

    I don't forget my name, but i do forget my age. I went into HMV once to redeem a newspaper token for Sex and the City. I was 23 at the time, but i've always looked young for my age. the guy asked me if i was over 18. I said yeah i'm 21, no wait i'm 23. Then turning to my fiance, I am 23 aren't i? Needless to say i had to show ID.:o

    Never forget my name, but sometimes i don't recognise myself with that label, as if this 'insert my name' is someone else. Can get quite creepy sometimes.

    Do sometimes forget my name, age also and other people's...have a really bad memory! Find it strange if people call me by my full name as thats normally just my family if they are shouting at me.

    That's what I'm like. I answered the phone a few weeks back and someone asked for Nicola. I did a bit of a double take and had to stop myself from saying "sorry wrong number". I've not been called Nicola by anyone except my Grandma since I was about 6. Now my work badge has it on. My boyfriend laughed for hours when he saw it.


    (I don't suit my name, tbh)

    ETA: I'm terrible with my age too. After my birthday every year, I give out my old age for at least 6 months. Then I struggle, and have to keep correcting myself for about 5 more. Just as I've got to grips with it and started using it, it's my birthday again :D

    I was buying my Dad some beer the other day and the bloke went "Are you 18?" and I said no :blush:. My cousin soon corrected me, and I gave them my ID. But for goodness sake, only I could do that.

    I was having a conversation with a mate about going out somewhere, and it was mentioned that they always ID everyone through the door, so I said ah well best think of somewhere else to go. There wasn't a single teenager among us, but it was my old school friends and I was being dense.

    all my buddies call me something else other than my real name, so when they say my real name on the rare occasions its a bit of a shock and takes a few mins to register..

    I don't forget it, but if i say it over and over again it just ends up sounding all weird and like some made up word or something, but that happens if i say anything over and over

    Yeah, I get that. Not just with my name though - any word that I say over and over becomes like that. It ends up not sounding like a real word!

    I get called about a million different names, some complementary, others considerably less so. Oddly enough, it's the ruder names I tend to remember. I can't help but wonder why. :p
