Dry throat

I've been taking a nasal decongestent for about 3 days straight (yay winter) that contains a psuedo ephedrine. One of the major side effects is that it dries out the mucas membrains of your throat and nasal cavaties. It has definatly worked. I havn't taken them yesterday or today and my throat is just so dry. Not the kind of dry where I can just drink or eat something and its all better. ANy tips on how to remoistuirize? Are throat losenges the only way, they never make those taste good :(

    When you use any kind of spray in your nose some of it will trickle down your throat and affect that as well. So next time you spray and you feel that trickle I'd spit it out if possible before it gets further down your throat.

    I'm using a spray as well ATM.

    get some hard boiled sweets and suck on them ..

    Ah thank you. I saw that the throat losenges worked but nasty, I didn't think about hard candy :thumb:
