    I have my advent calendar up though, it is a quilted one that someone special made me. She has filled it this year as my christmas present too :D There was a lovely little glass stocking decoration in it this morning :)

    I think the start of Advent is on Sunday, the fourth Sunday before Christmas. Now where are me wire coat hangers and flameproof tinsel for my Blue Peter Advent crown :D

    BALLS i didnt reliase it was the 1st 2day i havent got a calander yet!!!!!!!!

    going to tesco 2mora to buy some decorations to put up :D

    Decorations shouldn't go up until a week before Christmas, and they should come down on 12th Night. It ruins Christmas otherwise.

    We shouldn't have to go back to work until 12th Night either.

    Have an advent calendar to celebrate!

    I live in the middle of nowhere and all the christmas decorations have completely gone past me so far. Hurray! I won't return to the city until two weeks from now so that's about time for me to start thinking about things.

    I don't mind the lights to go up at the start of December to brighten things up during the darkest months, but for people to go overboard and get overly christmassy isn't my thing.
