Alcohol poisoning

Went home last week for Turkey Day.
A friend of mine was throwing a party and I agreed to do security (which mostly meant keeping drunk people from breaking things etc). Near the end of the night I had to drive this girl I know from high school to the hospital because (I thought) she had alcohol poisoning. She had gone completely limp, her eyes were roled up in her head, she couldn't talk, and didn't respond to some rather hefty slaps to the face. Also, on the way into the hospital she pissed her pants.
I'm not questioning whether or not I should have taken her to the E.R. (better safe than sorry). I'm just curious if it was actualy alcohol poisoning or if I was just jumpy.
