Title says it all.

I'd say...

Pirlo, Gerrard or Leighton.

Hmm I saw cantona in the flesh in his prime and he was awesome, you just knew he was on the fringe of doing something brilliant. Also henry he was awesome, but seen rivaldo and ronaldinho twice each but my vote goes suprisingly to rivaldo, only on the two times I saw them he was the far more effective player.

Was working around Ben Thatchers house a good few years back, and have met Joe Cole many times.

    Le Tissier.
Obviously aprt from on the pitch, he's been known to have a few drinks at my local, and the whole Saints team used to play golf on the course I was a greenkeeper at. He's a fucking good golfer too.

    IMO Roy Keane.

But I've also seen Zinedine Zidane play which will be nice to tell the grandkids.

I've seen Henry as well but he wasn't much good at the time.

Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, Bryan Robson, Giggs, Zidane, Ronaldo (other one) are the ones that stand out. Nearly forgot to mention Keiron Richardson.

    Your joking right???
He's not bad but he's not even good enough for premiership football.

Well on the international stage he's one of the finest strikers I've seen.

I don't know how he'd do in the premiership. It would be nice to see him in it though. It said in The Independent that Watford are interested in him to replace Marlon King who's out injured long term.

Paul Scholes, mostly because of his goal against us at the Bradford End. Or Henry, who scored a fantastic 35-yard screamer against us (but we won, so that's what matters).

I was going to be sarcastic and say Dean Windass.

Shearer - against derby county. He went in for a challenge in the air and split his head open, had blood pouring down his face and had to be walked off.(He came back on later)
Never before heard a stadium give someone that much respect!

Romario, in Barcelona vs. United. They won 4-0 and he tore our defence apart.

Couldn't possibly pick just one but the following spring to mind:

    Wayne Rooney
    Matt Le Tissier
    Alan Shearer
David Beckham (met him 3 times as well)
    Eric Cantona
    Ryan Giggs
    Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
    Robbie Fowler
    Steven Gerrard
    Grant Holt
    Patrick McCourt :p

has to go to either Franco Zola, John Terry or Raul. Goerge Weah comes close but was past his best when i saw him, same goes for Shevchenko. Seen Ronaldinho numerous times but tbh i dont rate him. Marcel Desailly was amazing too though.
