    Depends. I did once, as part of a school girl outfit. They were over the knee black ones. Not sure if I would again!

    I really like the over the knee ones and have always worn them with skirts and dresses. I had woolly black ones (with a tiny bow at the back, so cute) on last night with a pinafore dress and a "friend" of mine said he thought I looked like a child prostitute. I didn't know whether to :lol: or :crying:

    I :heart: knee high socks. Only under trousers though, or with wellies. And I always have to roll them down because my legs are too fat for them to stay up over my knee, and they always look poo. They keep my legs warm though. Tights + knee high socks + jeans = Franki having uberwarm legs in winter ;d.

    Yah. I wear them under jeans. I wouldn't wear them with a skirt unless it was part of a fancy dress outfit, or I went back in time and was 8 again.

    I wear them under skirts and trousers, but that said my skirts are all knee length anyways. I hate tights with a passion, they are the most uncomfortable piece of clothing ever, so its is knee highs or staockings. There are some really nice heavy opaque stay ups around at the moment, if you aren't sure about the socks, tightsplease.co.uk have got some.

    I can't say I've ever actually seen a school girl in over the knee socks, unless you count those white holey ones everyone used to wear in primary school.

    I keep seeing this thread and thinking it's my name :p

    As for the socks, despite my name I very rarely wear knee high socks, it's usually if I'm cold or if I have run out of normal socks to wear.

    I'm wearing knee-high (stripy) socks today under jeans. I wear them with skirts but I always have tights on, too.

    I used to wear them lots at school - we used to have to wear either grey socks or grey tights in the winter (white in the summer) so funnily enough we nearly all opted for grey over the knee socks!

    I don't really go in for them these days - however I do have a couple of really nice argyle knee high socks I wear under jeans or in bed.....

    I wear knee highs under jeans and I wore them with wellies at The Reading Fesitval, too.

    On their own it's fine if you're a size 8 and a porn star lilke.
