I am currently selling something on ebay and have a reserve on it. Anyway someone has e-mailed me wanting making an offer, am I able to accept this?

    Nope, it's against ebay rules to try and buy an item privately without bidding on it.

    if the item doesnt sell, what you can do is re-list the item (and i dont think you pay insertion fees twice, but i could be wrong) at the price they have offered and send them the link. Dont sell it privately whatever you do theres no way of trusting each other
