    im at work but im researching the triads after hearing something that happened in manchester recently and i also think i saw some at the weekend.

    I work for my mum, so I end up on my own in a not-at-all-busy office with the internet for 3 days a week... what else am I supposed to do?! :razz:

    shit loads of triads about in manchester, they are all over china town, i was lucky (or unlucky) enough to see a big kick off down there once, luckily i was safe in my car watching, but some dude must have pissed them off, he got a right beating.

    quite a few of the businesses down there are triad owned, LongLegs Strip club is deffo one of them.

    i have chinese friends ya see and know quite a bit about this mob.

    yep i have a chinese friend who knows a lot about it too. its just not something we usually talk about. however she was pretty sure there were some triads in this club we went to at the weekend - she has a good idea how to recognise them. a guy got chopped up at a bank in china town a few weeks ago but it was covered up by the police. don't want to cause a panic now do we!

    quite a lot of them will have a bleeched part of their black hair, or sometimes all of it, thats a good way to spot them, also they usually have lots of money, theres a few that go in the casinos as well. scary looking dudes.

    they usually have chinese tattoos and act really cocky. at the weekend there were 2 girls and 2 guys. the guys had tattoos and one of them was walking around with his vest rolled up. there was also an old chinese man hanging around -apparently they use old men as minders or look-outs.
