I have a good friend who i ocassionally flirt with. Hes really sweet etc although not really the kind of guy id go out with. However he now keeps talking about this girl and im feeling insanely jealous...what i cnat work out is if its just cos im feelling lonely myslef or cos i fancy the pants off him??
Plus theres this party coming up..and guess what? hes going with her. so...should i go or not? on one hand i may ahve a brillaint time and realise i dont fancy him and meet somoen else. on the other hand i could spend the whole time feeling jealous and then see them kiss and be heart broken....

any one wanna help?

    I think you should go and have a great time! If you dont get with this guy then it was obviously not meant to be so move on and (the illusive) Mr Right will turn up sooner or later..... <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    I think you're in love with him... but just start to realise it!
    If that guy is very sweet and cool, how come he's not the kind of guy you wouldn't go out with? Is it physical?

    Maybe ur just jealous cos hes payin more attention on her than u?? my best freind who is a boy started goin out wiv this girl that i knew and i was so jealous!! i didnt fancy him at all cos were too much of good freinds but i hated him goin out wiv her! stupid i no, but i now think mayb it was because i was scared she was gona take him away frm me. I eventually started to like her n then they broke up!

    What people seem to be forgetting here is Jealousy is not just an IN LOVE thing.

    When my best male friend got a girlfriend I was incredibly jealous but it was because I was losing a partof him and his time to someone else, not because I was in love with him but didn't know it.

    Its natural to feel worried that someone is taking a good friend away but surely if he is friends with you and friends with her you must have something in common for him to like you both.

    Lokk at it iin this way .. you are expanding your circle of friends and there are other people out there who you will be in love with and perhaps their friends will have an issue with it because they will be dealing with their feelings of jelousy.

    You will be able to understand their feelings because you've been there.
