Freeview box won't turn on

Its weird. It won't turn on at all and everything is plugged in properly.

It can't be the adapter because the light on it is lit yet the light that usually lights up on the front of the box isn't.

Any suggestions of how to fix it?

I have a BUSH freeview box. Model- DFTA3SIL

    Freeview boxescan be dodgy and arsey.

    Leave it unplugged for a while and try again.

    Then try zero + 2

    or zero + 3

    failing that check the batteries

    I think the leaving it unplugged suggestion is probably best.

    It's likely just shite and broken.

    Most of them are. I've never had a freeview box that hasn't been utter shite.

    The one we have now in the flat seems to have the most stupid remote in the world. Press '1' and it turns on channel '42' or someother hilarious combination. Fucking things.

    Best chances are to leave it unplugged for a while like JsT and Mist Just said , this happened to mine and i think i just left it unplugged for a while and replaces the batteries in the remote and everythign was working , took its time to decide to work again , i would press the on button on the box itself and it would just be on standby then something rediculous like 3 hours later it would turn on!
