In association with Aimhigher we're pleased to invite you all to a live webchat with Hollyoak's actor Kent Riley. Kent will be talking about his experiences of becoming an actor, his experience of higher education and, of course, Hollyoaks. So come along and join us all on Tuesday evening, 24th October.

    Aimhigher are promoting higher education, etc, so they are the one's behind the organisation of the actual chat (hence the focus on training as an actor, higher education, etc in the chat as well as Hollyoaks)

    Kent is now confirmed as being available at 7 - so the chat will start at about 6.30 with general waffle to give everyone a chance to turn up before we start chatting. We'll then be chatting with Kent for about 30 minutes (until 7.30) before returning to general chat for a bit to finish off.

    I'm just grumpy because everyone in my house (including the cat) is addicted to Hollyoaks and they're making me care. I only ever used to watch it on mute :grump:

    Although it's not strictly educamational based, does he find that being an actor, playing a certain role and having much of the populous see him as that, that he's treated differently in real life as a person - and if so, is it bearable.

    You see, I need to know for when I'm famous. I haven't decided what for yet. I'm thinking the next Isaac Newton, but you need brains for that :(
