Do you gamble ?

I do a line on the lotto every week, odd scratchcard, few quid in a fruit machine when i'm down the pub. Got to bingo about once a month. Won £500 on a fruit machine last time i went :)

    I play the lottery. And have a flutter on the national.

    I could neevr get into it. My gran and mum worked at the bookies for years. They have seen grown men crying begging for their wife's houskeeping money back, the money they just gambled and lost on a 'lucky' horse.
    The punters had weird superstitions - like you could only use the same cashier on certain days, some men hated my mum as they thought she was bad luck. Some loved her as they thought she was good luck.

    It was a funny old place though, a bit like the Desmond's setting.

    he must have that kind of money ti be ble to gamble it....more fool him unless he has money to burn.

    My gran's been held hostage at gunpint twice and my mum spotted a big time con, ones you see on crimewatch!!

    I've been to the bingo once - won 200 quid

    I've put one bet on at the bookies - won 65 quid

    Wondering when to start playing the lottery, I've been taught to use my powers sparingly ;)

    You know, if you know how, and know the numbers, there are far more effective ways at 'high risk high reward' income (or gambling) which cost you nothing! :p

    Chances of winning the lottery? 14 million to 1. Did you know, that it's actually a charity, so you're effectively giving away your money to fund government projects. But nevermind.

    I play poker a fair bit, i'm on partypoker now. used to have the odd flutter on the roullette wheel, normally when pissed - I never came out down, my mates hated it!

    I play fruities
    Go to the Casino a couple of times a year.
    Play pool for money sometimes
    Sometimes lay on a bet for the footy or dog.
    Have a sweepstake every sunday up the pub on the nags.
    I mostly enjoy playing poker with my mates on the weekend down the Cricket shed.

    I enjoy it, makes things a little more exciting.

    Used to work in a casino and have seen the pitfalls of gambling, saw one guy over the space of an afternoon win £110,000 asked for it in cash, obviously they didn't have it on the premises asked if he wanted a cheque he declined, got told to comeback and collect in 2 days over them two days he came back and fucked the lot, then they barred him for life!! Another occasion this guy whos first time in a casino for a £1 bet on the superstud poker which is linked up to all the other casinos in the country drew a straight flush and won 10% of the total jackpot he won £250,000 and the best bit was listening to him on his phone telling his ex girlfriend who dumped 2 days previous about his little bit of luck!! To my knowledge that guy never returned to the casino again.

    no I don't gamble. I once played Texas Hold'em a few years back, lost 15 bucks in 9 minutes. Decided gambleing is for chumps.

    used to play lots and lots of quite high stake Texas NL, but calmed down. still play occasionally online or with friends, but never more than £50 a game.

    play 3 card poker, blackjack and roulette usually when we go to the casino.

    i'm a self proclaimed blackjack hero. its so easy to make money on as long as you dont have no shite players on your table, a bad player can ruin your chances.

    usually whack a coupon on and a bet on the clarets on a match day.

    I have an account with paddypower that I have built up from a tenner to just over £200 since the World Cup. No big stupid bets. Just a couple of quid on "sure" footie bets. Aim to retire in the next couple of years :p

    I play Texas Hold em every now and then. Nothing major though, normally £10 or £20 Tornaments.
