It's never going to be easy after being with someone for so long but if he's made it clear it's over then the best thing for you is to move on. Your best bet is to turn to your friends, hopefully they'll understand and will help you forget about this guy, go out and have fun, do something you've been wanting to do for ages but have put off. One of my ex's who I still talk to, told me that when we split up she just tried to keep as busy as possible, she went out with friends to clubs more, restarted horse-riding, etc.
One thing that I find helps is just to admit to yourself it's over, don't cling to the hope that you could get back together and certainly don't try to analyse why you broke up. There's someone out there for everyone, and half the fun is working your way through the others until you find them!
Hope this helps!

Use a ladder!! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif">

Sorry. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif">

Get yourself a new and vibrant social life, go out, have fun, enjoy yourself. Endless moping about the past will just lock you down into pattern of thinking that won't do you any good.
