I see going to the cinema as something to do on a date rather than a night out with friends but i just wondered what the rest of you thought.
Do you go to the cinema with mates or even just one mate (same or opposite sex, whichever) or do you, like me, just see going as a date scenario?

I see it as both. I have done both in the past.
I prefer it with mates though as if you are on a date, particularly a first date, then you can't really sit and talk.
