For a while now ive been after some new (to me at least) music that i havent heard before.
I've been introduced to a lot of 80's bands by my dad (a bowie/floyd/who etc. fan) and growing up with likes of oasis and blur i like a lot of that type of music so tell me some songs to download that were around between 1975 and 2000 that were perhaps less commonly known so theres more of a chance i havent heard of it.
To start the ball rolling, i recomend Colin hays - overkill

Has anyone heard of this new aussie band the grates? I saw them open for the dears in NYC, and they were awesome! their singer is so adorable and totally reminds me of a younger, cuter, more ADD version of Karen O. their album’s really good. I bought it when I was there. Is anyone else a fan? Anyone seen them live?
