Does anyone heat their plates before eating?

Like they always seem to do at weddings?

    The boyfriends family do if we're having a chinese takeaway (like just now :yum:)

    my dad does it and my mum does it occasionally.

    Never. But most of the time, the plate has only juat come out of the dishwasher and is therefore, warm.

    Yep, used stick them in the oven if we were having an Indian or a Chinese.

    By the time they came out they'd be fucking scorching, usually because the incompetent takeway staff had yet again fucked up the order and we had to go back and get what we actually ordered :rolleyes:

    My stepdad (who is a complete wanker, although that doesn't really relate to this) won't eat his food unless it is served to him on a hot plate.

    I am easy though, happy with either :)

    Only if the food on the plate has gone cold. I warm it up and, inevitably, the plate too.

    My parents do for some meals. I don't think it makes much difference though.
