Has anyone changed ADSL Supplier and noticed any speed differences?
I was with Pipex for ages on just 512 kb/s
Then moved to Plusnet for the last 1.5 years initally on the same speed then tried to get upto 2 mb/s but was unstable - now stable on 1 mb/s BUT it seems kinda slow - not dwnload speeds as such just seems to be a delay between requesting a webpage fo example and it starting to download.
My telephone exchange is only 800 yards away I should be getting upto 6.5 mb/s reliably according to an online checker - Thinking about switching to Sky ADSL which is on the Easynet LLU - I'm wondering because there system is unbundled from BT if this will make it more reliable / faster?

any interest?
Not really interested in the 24 mb/s service - just wondering why I'm with an UPTO 8mb/s service, that according to online reports should give me 6.5 mb/s is unstable at anything about 1mb/s when I'm only 800 yards from the local telephone exchange.
