    Personally, i have never done that and never would.

    But it intrugues me as to why people think its sad or desperate to meet someone in person for the sole purpose of having sex, if that's what this thread is even about?:confused:
    Meeting people off the internet is no different to meeting people by other means, in my opinion. The only difference is you have probably spoken lots and know things about eachother.
    And some people, just get off on having sex with a total stranger then never having to meet them again-in fact i think its actually a known fetish though i cant remember the name of it. If you think about it, the internet is a good way to go about finding someone else who wants to do the same thing.

    I met a person online and had a 4-night-stand. Lived at her place. Unluckily does the long distance thing never work out.

    /e: and I agree with blah here. the internet is nothing more than a forum to meet people. It's like you said you met someone "off a pub" and shagged her/him. Or you met someone at the soccerfield and shagged him/her.

    Basically it wasn't a one-night stand, it was a "getting to know", since we've been awesome friends after talking for a couple months, and then it happened. Objectively seen: I flew to london, got someone personally to know, shagged, flew home.
