a bit of a wierd one... this has lasted a few days already and i'm starting to get a bit concerned... this is a good place to ask advice...
so ... black vaginal discharge - what's the problem?!

    um, you due for a period/recently finished?

    I get very dark discharge before and after my period. Or sometimes its all i get and no blood.

    You know how when you cut yourself and you bleed its red, and then the scab is black ish? Well if not everything came out on your period then it could well be old period blood.

    Hmm.

    If I were you I'd give it a couple more days and see if it goes away and was just one of those things. If it doesn't go and see some one.

    It could just be blood, but if it was me I'd go down the doctors, to put my mind at rest if nothing else.

    yep. i have arranged a gp appointment now - thats what nhs direct reccomended too.
