Hmmm, my thoughts anyway although theres enough people that will argue my case, but that's there opinion.

The human body needs no form of medication whatsoever unless in sever traumatising cases of pain relief or an actual remedy from a disease/illness.

Everything else is cured by your actions, day to day activities, diet, the people you socialise with etc etc.

am inclined to go with you on this point when i was depressed a few years ago after a series of bad shit the doc prescribed me prozac

within the first 3 weeks of takin it my libido went :shock: didnt talk (wtf) :shock: and went into recluse mode :cry: .....my dad made me throw em away....

after alot of help from yappin to mates generally just makin myself do so much different day to day stuff to not have time to think eventually

i got outta my hole, took quite a while but WITHOUT ANTI DEPRESSANTS maybe they work for some but for me no way never again.

I just REALLY lost my temper on another forum :mad:

    People shouldn't be shoved onto antidepressants without other non drug treatments being used toom but like everything they have their uses.

    Well if I broke my leg, I'd want the hospital to fix it properly, but I'd still want some painkillers in the meantime.

    Like my doctor said, the tablets are to help you, whilst you get other help too.
    Lets be honest here, lots of people need councilling but they have to wait. Should we do nothing and let them go top themselves instead?

    Meh, opinions are like arseholes. Everyone has got one, but you don't really want to listen to them that often.

    Both posters gave personal "apparent" accounts. Me? i'd rather discuss it with a trained professional anyway.
