Glands

Where do we have our most prominent glands? That's an odd question I realise. I usually have raised glands in my neck, and they get loads bigger when I'm poorly. Recently I've been under the weather (blocked sinuses, cold like symptoms) and I have a small painful bump behind my ear! I had it on the opposite ear at the top of it the other week and again painful but it went down. My mother said it's a gland...but I was wondering if there was actually something there that reacts to illness!

Anyway, maybe a stupid question!

Thanks anyone

Those lumps are glands. I remember budda giving a explanation on why we get them lumps. Something to do with our body fighting infection.
