Chinese music

Hello, long time no speak.

I heard a piece of music called Happy Valley - the re-unification of china, which was played by vanessa mae, at, surprise, surprise, the re-unification of china. I just loved that piece and wondered if anyone could recommend anything else like it?

Also any other decent chinese/ south east asian music. I have a few of zhao wei (vicki zhao's) albums, but I know that is cheesy C-Pop. Anything better around?

    I love Valen Hsu. I can upload a few tracks if you want - it'll have to wait though, cos I'm having computer problems at the mo, plus I'm in the middle of moving house, so I've got my music backed up somewhere, & my CDs are stashed in a box.

    that would be great - because in most cd stores, the asian music is really expensive and i have no idea how good/bad it will be :(
