the tenners knowing this country
No, its not called that. Thats just retarded. Why? I feel a little depressed for the human race for coming up with that. I think I'll die now.
Ok, but I'm not sure how we can do it, I'm all for the sex, babe, but I just dn't think its possible to procreate.
sorry for thread hyjacking here icey! x
As from 2010 on, I'd think it's the "Tens" or something.
I hope the 2010-2019 will be called the 2010's, you know, like the 1910's and the 1810's and so forth...
Thats the name of the century.
IN 1706 they were proberly debating the same thing over a spot of pheasant hunting
Not really, for me at lest. If your taking about something that happened in 1809 you say, 1800's, or turn of the specified century, if you were talking about something that happened in 1837, you would say in the 1830's, talking about the century in general, you would say in the 19th century, early/mid/late 19th depending on how specific or general you want to be. I've taken way too many history classes over the years and thats how I/we have always referred to years and dates in history. Though as I've learned on here language differes alot more than one would expect, but thats just how I know it as, what you know it as, I guess, is something different.
its a bit different when you are talking about past dates in my opinion. You have to say it in full for it to make sense.
what were talking about here are shortened named for a decade. other surely it would just be the "twenty tens" for dates 2010-2019.
Just "the tens" all the way
True that.
I think they'll be called the two-thousand-and-tens
Thats a top name for the decade.:thumb:
getting carried away now with my fear of the future
