Does true love exist? When do think you realise that you love someone? Or is it just a hollywood invention? What do we think?

And another fabrication I think is that there's only one right person out there for everyone. So people feel like they have to go on this hunt. When in fact you can fall in love with a lot of people. Anyone (including myself) who's loved and lost and loved again will tell you that.
Just my thoughts <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">
As for the media, I believe it's an ideological tool, I'd even go as far as to say that it's an escape from reality.
I'm not being horrible to people who say they are in love, but I believe that it's all in the head. It's like a mental illness, except much more pleasent. I've had enough mental illness through depression, why would I want an obsession with another bloke to worry about?
Maybe love does exist, even possibly, true love...it's hard for me to understand because it's never happened, but I doubt it will happen to me because I'm not that lucky. I suppose it's kinda like a religion, you believe in it or you don't.
sorry if I'm pessimistic.

I've never been in love - I've had really big crushes, but I've never been in love. But I have seen people in love - basically all my mates at the mo are in a long-term relationship.
I don't deny that love is very rare in the form that Hollywood portrays it, and it's is very hard to find anyways in real life. But it is out there - it is what makes the world go round, in one sense or another.
I'll remain optimistic.
Life's just not that way. The only guys I ever meet are perverts and after one thing. Don't wanna be tied down with a relationship cos I'm a lone wolf with a life to live.
I do have friends, but recent experiences have shown me that you can't trust anyone.

Life is like a beautiful melody, only the lyrics are messed up
