Does anyone know if you are allowed to take Syndol with Microgynon 30?

Any help apriciated! :)

    I don't know what Syndol is. But you could ask NHS Direct (0845 46 47) as they would be able to tell you.

    Accordingly, Syndol is a painkiller with codene? If this is correct, then there is no problem. Pain killers and/or codene do not effect birth control.

    Yeah it's a pain killer containing paracetamol, codine and doxylamine succinate.

    The doxylamine succinate is what i'm most worried about because i don't really know what it is!

    doxylamine succinate is an antihistamine. It also has no effect on birth control. It however should be taken with caution with cns depressent drugs.
