Is it shame?

When a guy is feeling ashamed, how would he show it is his body language? Example, if a guy was feeling ashamed for dumping is ex girlfriend, how would his body language show it?

Any answers would be appreciated

    ok, well I broke up with this guy last year and i have noticed that when ever we have to pass eachother on the street since our break up, he will quickly turn his head the other way or hide his face from me. And if we are in eachother's sight be a great distance apart, I catch him looking at me.
    I am just wonder if his not being able to look at me would mean he is feeling ashamed.

    Maybe he's regretting breaking up with you and now he can't face talking to you so when he sees you he looks the other way but mayb he still likes you so he'll look at you when he thinks you don't know.

    yeah i think thats one possibility... how long were you together for? maybe he regrets the way in which he broke up with you.... might not necessarily mean he wish he HADNT broken up with you, just the circumstances. sounds like he feels embarrassed about something anyway.

    Well, the guy and I went out for 6 months and he broke it off because we were not having many topics for conversation and he also mentioned that in our last month together we did not spend much time together and were not really doing things like boyfriend and girlfriend. I agreed with him and he said that he would just like to be friends, but I found that difficult and I think he did too because we did not talk much after the break up so I evetually stopped talking to him because I was hurt and frustrated. I am wondering if he was feeling the same way. When we stopped talking to eachother after I left, this is when he started to hide his face from me.
    And I am still hurt now because we do have a lot in common and i really do think he is a nice guy.
