Vinyl cleaning

Anyone know of anything round the house i could use to clean some dusty, dirty records. Don't wanna spend money on all these vinyl cleaning things.

So any ideas?

    Between White spirit and WD40, you are literally saved in life. That and a roll of Duct Tape.

    White Spirit might damage the record though.

    Personally I wouldnt risk putting anything on them.., you can buy vinyl cleaning fluid, its pretty cheap.

    If your sticking to round the house, just use a small amount of water and an lint free cloth.

    ETA: If you have anything that removes static, that might help a little.
