Chinese astrology signs

On my packet of sweet and sour sauce it told me the year of the dog was, then listed some years. Out of curiousity, I decided to see what I was. However, when I looked it up online, different sites gave different animals to different years. Does anybody know the correctness?

    Wood goat or steel goat, can't quite remember. Each sign, depending upon when you were born, has an attribute. Fire, steel, water, air and wood i think.

    Mine seems to be wood, and in that site it has a - sign too. What does that mean? I'm an Ox, wood negative like you say "AB, rhesus negative"?

    I'm a positive earth dragon according to that chart (heh, I KNEW i was a dragon). But at least I'm positive :)

    It certainly sounds the most glamourous doesnt it. Better than a water gerbil or something.
    Im not sure being a fire dragon has made me any of those wonderful things its supposed to have, but theres still time!
