Last night my girlfriend was measuring herself (as she does sometimes because she is trying to loose weight) and she started comparing our waist sizes, and that. Then all of a sudden she started to measure my penis (I was naked at the time as we'd just had sex). I was a bit freaked out by this and asked what she was doing, she says she was just curious.
I'm not particularly sensitive about my size, but I was quite uncomfortable with her doing it. I don't know why, but normally I just think I am what I am, but having a number put on it makes me feel a bit odd and i'm not sure i'm comfortable with her knowing it, maybe because it introduces the possibility of comparrison.
Does this sound like normal behaviour from her? Would anyone else be a bit weirded out by this or am I just be a bit sensitive?

I dont think theres anything inherently wrong with it. Ive measured my bfs one, but then he wasnt against me doing it.

It's not really until after that I started to worry.
I don't really know why I worried afterwards and not at the time, but I just started thinking about whether what she thought would change because she now knows. I suppose it's like someone who's a little overweight and people know it, but then he/she get's weighed and is 14 stone, they might be a bit sensitive about other people knowing what the actual figure is, even though they look the same before they knew what the actual weight was. Does that make sense?
The more I think about it the more I think i'm just being silly. I've just never had someone wanting to measure me and I felt it was a little odd.
We were having sex in a children's library so there were loads of rulers on the side for something. I just grabbed one and measured his willly (whilst it was erect). He knew his exact size so had blatently done this before.
He isn't English so I explained that here we use cm and inches but for penises we always use inches. He now seems to think we have a special unit just for willies!
He complained a bit so I told him it was so that I could tell our mutual female friends how big it was to comfort him but I don't think that helped much.
Mainly cause I'm not good at guessing.

I know exactly what i've got and have no problem if im in bed with a girl and she wants to measure it, shes not gonna tell me a number thats new to me and its just a bit of bedroom fun and for some bizzare reason it can be a turn on as its pretty intimate. I dont think girls really need to measure they can probably tell you what you have within the half inch without a measuring tape. If your comfortably naked with someone you have had sex its not like there is anything left unseen.
Guys are always curious about a girls opinion, if they think you are big, small or average. I dont like to ask, but im always dieing too know her opinion and wait until she hopefully makes a comment, but if she says nothing I just have to ask after a while somehow in a joking kind of way not appear too obvious lol.
Fact is only guys with big dicks tend to show them off at any opertunity and guys with little ones must keep them to themselves and their partner, so only you girls really know what the average really is. How many guys have you ever heard bragging about or showing off a small dick? Girls have seen them all for real, unless all the guys with small dicks are all also cellibate. I dont think girls are all that bothered about size but us blokes cant help but worry or at least be curious. Girls have all sorts of hangups over their bodies, this is the one big issue that can get a bloke worrying, I know I did as a teenager when it was still err, growing.
Im no porn star, just over an inch over the so called average, one girl who was quite experienced said it was as big as she had seen in real life another said it was average compared to other guys she had been with and she had seen one much bigger, so until you girls get the measuring tapes out the true average will always be shrouded in mystery. Im happy with mine and have no problem with a girl measuring it but cant resist getting an opinion for some reason, but would I be so happy if I was well below the so called average?

When you measure now, do you use like a ruler? Or a tape measure? Or a string, then you put it next to a ruler? Or a yard stick?
