Hey all

I know the other there was a thread about banking and free gifts. At the time I didnt know of any to offer anything decent but today I have literature through from the Royal bank of Scotland saying that they put £55 in your account for free on sign up to get you started. I dont know any bank that offers you cash upfront like that.

yeah some banks did do that two years ago. But the railcard was the in thing then. with the natwest you could choose the railcard or £50, and seeing as a railcard would be eventually worth so much more than the £50...

i chose that deal with RBS and got £50. if you're going to travel home a lot then a rail card (valid for 3 years i think) is worth so much more! damnit.
