Well i'll ask here first before i do anything but after talking to my mates i think i need to do something.
Well basically i applied for my course at Aston last year but deferred it to this year. So under the student finance thingy i should be considered a gap year student meaning i only have to pay the cheaper tuition fees. Got sent a letter the other week saying they wouldnt let me be considered a gap year student because the letter, from the university confirming my place, i sent was dated before the 1st August. So now i have to pay the full fees .. £3000. Now i AM a gap year student but hey dnt seem to want to accept that.
Anyway i've been given a grant which im thinking ive been given to help cover the cost of the loan but i aint sure. Just actually got round to thinking about it. So i guess ringing them up is the best bet? Being screwed here?
