Okej...
a mate of mine (female) came to me crying today at school cos she'd just been fighting with her bf. the cause of the fight: it was their 1.5 years anniversary and she'd planned something "special" over at her place, she had a free house everything was perfect. and he says "sorry, no can do, i've got work to do". work that is not important, and that has no given deadline.
i said, as diplomatically as possible, youve got to re-instate communication, you've got to learn to trust him et all (u know the stuff ur sposed to say <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">) and then went on to agree with her - he is an asshole, he deserves what he get's etc etc.
but nothing works on this guy. sucking up and working for attention doesn't work. ignoring him doesn't work (when u talk to him about it, he says "oh no, she's just tired."). scare tactics don't work: "i'm breaking up with you" says the girl. "oh no, i need you, i love you, i want you" etc. and then their back to square one.
what would you suggest i advise the girl to do? no friends of his can talk to him, cos he refuses to listen - he thinks he knows best when it comes to relationships.
pleeease...i really care bout this girl and i hate seeing her hurt. any advice would deserve a great big kiss n a hug (or a firm and warm handshake <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">)
