He's still working away, i can cope with not seeing him, work can't be helped.
I sent him a text saying "is everthing ok, you son't seem yourself". To which i had no reply. So i left it for a while then sent another "I guess from the delayed response something's wrong"
I know when he has his phone on or not, coz mine bleeps when the message is received, clever like that!! so its not that he had his fone off.
Then he replied "sorry i've been a little busy" i said ok, sorry i just miss you, and he said he did to.
Then today i rang him, bearing in mind, what i mentioned before about signal where is is working, we got as far as hello i'm ok then i got cut off, so i tried again, only this time it just rang, and he didn't answer. So i sent another text, "text me when u r not "busy" but if something is wrong just tell me"
By 5pm still nothing, so by this point i'm getting totally pissed off and said "at least tell me to fuck off!" but his fone is now off.
All i want him to say is "nowts wrong", just for some reasurance, but i'm not getting any, i fear the end is nigh, he just can't tell me. He left his ex for 10 weeks, not saying whether he was staying or going hense the suicide attempt. I just want some answers. I know he's busy but it only takes a minute to send a text or something.

mandi things do sound like there could be something wrong and your bf just doesnt wanna tell you... but thats only one possibility. he could actually have been busy, blokes on the whole are terrible and returning texts and phone calls ive found, so he might have been meanign to do it all day but just not got round to it yet. and even though if you say youre worried about him and send more texts, he might get the impression youre being possessive and naggy, even though to you youre just tryign to see if theres anything wrong, and if there is try and sort it. *sigh*. idont have too many answers right now im afraid! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"> i hope it all gets sorted though.

I think there might be a perfectly reasonable explanation, the thing is how r u gonna find out if he wont commnicate with u ??
Best thing to do would be to phone him up when ure sure he wont b busy i.e sunday mornin then demand answers !!
it dus sound really suss, even if u luv him, u gotta have communication in a relationship and if he's not willin to put in the time and effort, then maybe u wud b better off without him.
Just make sure u know whats goin on b4 u do anythin rash first. e.g. dumpin him.

When i try and fone him when i know/think he's not busy his phone is switched off.
GFM i know what you mean, i don't want to seem too possesive coz i'm not like that, i just want some answers, i sent another text today saying "i'm sick of being ignored, im prepared for the worst just hit me with it", and as soon as i pressed send i wished i hadn't. I'm not sending anymore now, and i mean that. The balls in his court now, he normally comes down on wednesdays, so we'll see what happens next week.
SO i rang him back. He said while he was talking to me the other day he dropped the phone thats why we got cut off and why he didn't answer it when i called back.
His other fone had no credit on. Obviously no pay phones in North yorkshire!!!
He also said that he doesn't know when i'll see him next coz, he's in oxford next week then has a 5 week contract in birminham, he said its not fair on you.
I said i aint got a problem if he hasn't, i can cope with not seeing him as long as we keep in touch, we knew it was gonna be difficult when we started, and until we get ourselves sorted out i,e living together its something we are gonna have to live with.
He seemed ok with that, and kept saying are u sure?, r u sure? I'm like YES!!!
Then his battery ran out. So folks thanxs for your advice, i really thought that was it you know, but im sooooo pleased we were all wrong.

We are speaking now, and everything seems ok. The only problem being i think the distance thing is getting him down. Not so much where he lives, but he's always working out of town.
