Anyone on the Patch?

I recently went on the contraceptive patch, put it on on Friday, no problems at all until today - I feel sooo sick, and have rather an upset stomach too.

Is it likely to be that thats causing it? And if so should this be a temporary side effect?

    Some contraceptives have that as a side effect - I know for a few days after I went on the pill, I felt like crap, but was fine on the implant. It works differently for everyone.

    It should be temporary, but if it persists, or is causing trouble for you, I'd phone your doctor/nurse :)

    Yeah, it could be your patch causing it. Hormonal contraceptives can make you feel a bit pukey for the first few days/weeks, but if you bear with them, the feeling usually goes away.

    Of course, it could be any number of other things, so if it carries on, or you're worried, get some professional advice :)
