Wouldn't that be a wonderful invention from time to time? Get rid of all the distractions...

A tribe in Africa discovered a substance in plants that removes hunger, allowing them to survive and hunt for longer periods without faltering.

Wouldn't it be great if there was the same drug for sex?

    Nope don't think so at all... Sex is one of the most fun thing we have, the only thing you can have wether you are rich or poor... I wouldn't see the point of stopping it... Get sexual urges, wank or have sex, urges gone... No need to eat a pill for that...

    Yeah I can just imagine jealous people making their boy/girlfriends take it before they go on holiday so they're not tempted.

    but nah id never take it lol cos i dont think about sex ALL the time so doesnt tend to be a problem

    Technically speaking there is some drugs that work, for men anyway. Even though they are not established for that reason they do have those effects.

    I know with me I would sometimes like to lower my sex drive, wanting sex but fearing mentioning it because it always causes arguments is not nice. And being with a girl who has a low sex drive seems to make me ten times worse (hornier that is).

    AS someone mentioned, you can always masturbate, but it's quite depressing when you're in a long term relationship and you find yourself masturbating all the time.

    So yes, I can see the appeal, but personally I'm not a fan of messing with nature and I would not take anything like this. I'd rather put up with the frustration.

    It would be nice, but you can always get a lobotomy, funds permitting. Being around and not getting laid is about as useful as having a car with no wheels.
