you know like when you have a smear they take swabs. well say you had something similar to that done and the doctor wanted to see you (the same day they phoned the results through) you would be shitting it yeah? Dispite the receptionist saying its standard procedure...ITS NOT IT IS.:crying:
yoiu know sometimes they can't read a swab and they need to do it again they would just tell yoiu that on the phone wouldnt they?
:nervous: :crying:

Try not to worry about it Shell, it might be that the swabs showed nothing and the doctor wants you to come in so they can discuss with you what to do next. In fact Im going to finish what I was going to say here in LJ :p

The receptionist possibly wouldn't have that information to hand. S/he would probably have just been told to get you in, and no more.

I've said it on LJ - don't panic. It is highly likely that it is nothing serious.

they might have had a problem with the swab and need to do it again, that has happened to me and i freaked out cos they phoned and left a message saying they needed me to come in URGENTLY but that was all it was, just the swab didnt come out clear.

Always remember though, as scary as it is when you think something might be wrong, it's 100 times better that they know, so can act on it :)

Really that's sometimes even better than them not finding anything, cause they can get you fixed up and you don't have to deal with the symptoms anymore :)

Hope all goes to plan, anyway.

Yeah i know what you mean. Apparently it can be a bit of a pig to fix and only 7/10 respond to treatment but i am gonna be one of the 7.
