    Not really a very good game, but the right result, if that bunch of diving tossers had got through it would have been so wrong. I'd like to see anybody try and defend the antics of the Portuguese in that game.

    Portugal were the better side.

    France didn't really do much. Silly silly foul by Dicky Carvalho. I hope France play better against Italy and make a better match of it.

    Didn't think there was much between them to be honest. After the goal France sat back and defended and Portugal lacked the ability to finish.

    Better sides lose all the time, that's the beauty of football. Portugal couldn't finish indeed. Figo defo should have buried that header after Barthez spilt Ronaldo's free kick. Couple of other dangerous crosses should have been used better. France still looked good with Ribery and Zidane but Henry and couple of others bottled it.

    Bollocks they were.

    The amount of Dives i saw. No team that dives that much should even be allowed to get that far. This is from a Neutral perspective too.

    By definition the side which wins is the better side on the night - unless it's through cheating of course. :yes: Portugal were more entertaining, and they had more posession but that doesn't win you games.

    Well France and Italy have had their fair share of dives, some pretty disgraceful (Henry), yet they're in the final so that's bollocks.

    I was speaking purely from a footballing point of view anyway.

    It was just an observation on the match. It's not really something you get technical about. Don't you ever watch games and see the better footballing side losing?

    A really, really disappointing game. Very little in the way of good football [and very little between the teams in terms of "deserving" a win, to be honest].. though it was the result I needed for the final I want to see, so I cannae complain. Also, I suppose I'm comparing it unfavourably to yesterday's fantastically played-out game.

    The booing pissed me off, too.

    Can't wait for Sunday though; Allez les Bleus :thumb:

    Why is the booing pissing people off?? It just shows the whole world hate the little charver, which they should rightly do after his actions throughout the tournament.

    It would have being a crime against football if the biggest cheating nation of the modern era got to the final. Can't believe none of the cheats even got booked. But in a way I'm glad Ronaldo didn't get sent off because we may not have seen the baby cry at the end.

    What was not right and proper was the fucking moaning from Scolari. I think he should be given a 5 match ban for that.
