    Mobile phone?
    Watch?
    Music player?

No idea really - seems like a tough task.

I'd take my handbag. Because I can't live without my handbag, it contains all the other things I can't live without and carries them all around for me :D

but your handbag is just your handbag until you add things to it. :p

i'd pick something different to the usual phone/car etc because it'll make you stand out to the other people who will no doubt use these examples.

But could you live without your handbag? If you took it away, would those things be carryable. In my case no, I don't think my pockets accomodate the amount of crap I have to carry :) Heh.

I can't think of anything really original... I'm not an original girl :)

It can be used for digging, it can be used for eating, scooping something up. The handle could be used for leverage, uhm ...

Water. Be tricky to live without it, and not that easy to sell it.

    Same with Air.

I can't live without my glasses because without them I can't see very well. You could spin that out a bit and use some metaphors.
