Stange keyboard and mouse actions

Pressed shift key for awhile by accident and now i have something strange happening> Cant type numbers commers etc etc have to have caps lock on to type in lower case

when i select text it selects everything in chunks and i cant scroll with the mouse wheel

Sure its something simple but its very annoying!

    Look at the accesibility options in the control panel. Pressing shift for a while activates the mouse keys, you have to disable it. And since you're going there, disable shortcuts such as the one you used by mistake.

    Surely these shortcuts should be disabled by default, and have anyone who needs them activate them.
