Stupid bets

One of my mates made a bet with one of my other mates recently that england wouldnt never win the world cup in his lifetime. This bet was for quite a lot of money as well but the guy who made it has no chance of evere seeing any money but every chance of losing some....has anyone else ever made any stupid bets?

    That is a stupid bet. Can't really beat that for stupidity seeing as it would only ever pay out upon his death. :lol:

    I don't gamble as a rule, but I played the lottery once and lost. That was stupid.

    me and my mates used to do bets playin some formula one game for the ps1 .. and bet eachother on that virtual horse racing thing thats on tv in the middle of the night .. under the influence of course :crazyeyes

    Usually just bet on shit like the grand national but sometimes do the odd footie bet.

    Can't think of any stupid bets but that one definately is stupid. Unless the money goes to his children or some shit.

    I have made loads of stupid bets in my life! Generally all for good fun though, nothing serious!

    It isnt money, but when I was younger I bet my mate once that I could swing across a small stream using a branch that was over hanging it...
    Needless to say I ended up on my arse soaking wet!

    There was quite alot of people there too, so like an idiot I just jumped up and tried to pretend nothing happened...
    Very cleaver seen as I had a soaking wet arse!

    I bet my dad that he couldn't eat a packet of crisps in under 20 seconds once.

    I made a bet with my dad during the Athens olympics as to which country will get the most Gold medals in the next Olympics. I went USA, he reckons China. There's a whole pound riding on this.

    I reckon China will overtake USA eventually, if not the next one then definately London.

    I went to the dog races on Saturday and did the top tipster thing for £2. Got my name on the board for being the lowest scorer of the night! Wahey. Apart from that I don't actually know how to bet, so I haven't made any stupid ones.

    I lose a lot more at the casino on roulette then I win. £75 last night. The fact my friend I went with has won £2000+ in the last fortnight hasn't helped.

    got bored at games of poker and just gone all in on stupid hands hoping everyone would fold and didnt. lost a bit of money like that.

    i lose intrest after a few hours. its a downfall of my game.
