well there was this girl a while back who i liked, she was pretty tho she didn't have much of a sexual figure. Never fantasised 'bout sex with her but did want to be with her for a while.

suppose that might qualify.

Yes you can find a person beautiful without them being sexually attractive. In my case, anyway.

I'm big on brains, so if a girl starts quoting Shakespeare at me, then I find her attractive.

I like music too, so if she can play a violin then I can go for that too.

If you are gay/an alien do you still regard the female body (a very beautiful thing) as a thing of beauty entirely separate from anything sexual?

Or even minors. Peaple are always saying 'ahh what a beautiful baby' n stuff.

I completely agree - I reckon that just like pictures etc, people can still be beautiful without being sexy, but the two are often linked.

I think my mother is beautiful... but do I find her sexually attractive? No.

I think there are some beautiful girls at work. Some I find sexually attractive, some I don't but I still think they're cute.

(don't tell my gf I just said that)

How you say a person is beautiful is what yr definition of the beauty of that person.The other day I was actually thinking how beautiful my mum is.The way she talks and what she says-I was totally fascinated.

I suppose seeing a person as beautiful is like an art painting.You say the painting is beautiful because there is something you are looking deep into-there is meaning.

Finding someone sexually attractive is a totally different beauty.

To summarise I do think that you can find someone beautiful without being sexually attracted to them.

This topics got me in the deep mood now.I do have a lot of beautiful people in my life.Beauty lies under the skin,thats how you find someone beautiful without the sex hormones.

I think that people often confuse something of beauty with sexual feelings, beauty is not only to do with how people look. Someone can be beautiful because of they have a fascinating mind, or becuase they have a certain opinion, things like that. If someone is beautiful to you then it doesn;t mean you have to find them sexually attractive.

One example is, most people woiuld say that their mother is a beautiful person, I know I think mine is, but I certainly don't fancy her!!

Never forget that beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!

how true. beauty is in everything, its just a question of seeing it. anything can seem beautiful in a different way. sexual beauty is just one of those ways, look hard enough and you can see the breathtaking beauty that gracefully dances beneath a riff or in the soul of a splinter of light. and that is what i live for.
