Expect lots of drinking, lots of partying, music, fun, excitement, smelly toilets, fast food and just mental craic all round.

Try to wear old clothes as you'll become very dirty, bring a coat just in case it rains and wear trainers always.

ive been twice before. Expect it to be very loud, very smelly, overpriced food, toilets to be pretty hideous, campsites to be incredibly overcrowded - if possible get a wednesday pass to get a good camping spot.
Some great bands though. Its what you make of it. I love festivals though :)

don't buy food on the site! unless you're really really hungry and cba to walk anywhere, there's a sainsburies just down the road, stock up on stuff there. (The food there is so ridiculously priced, like £6 for a burger and £3 for the extra ketchup or something). There will probly be ppl selling beer from trucks just outside the site, it's a lot cheaper to buy off them instead of having to drink carling :yuck:

yeah but tbh, I think stocking up on stuff from sainsburies etc etc can be a false economy at these things, cos 1. most stuff you will want to eat is gonna be perishable or then youre gonna have to hoff along cooking equipment too, and half the time people end up buying stuff from the burger vans anyway, and then leavng excess food theyve bought behind.
its good to take cereal bars and crisps and stuff with you for late night munchies and breakfasts but apart from that I say its still worth getting stuff from the vans sometimes (the falafel van sells yummy stuff) Festival food is all part of the experience.

maybe... the festival food isn't bad at all, just the pricing.. I lived off sausage rolls, fruit, beer and water while i was there, felt pretty decent (no hangovers etc) :D Only bought inside the festival once and that was a bacon sandwich for breakfast (£5 i think it was). I did notice a lot of the other prices though :/

eta: if you're not tight for money then go for the food inside i guess, I was on a pretty tight budget at the time so I took the walk to sainsburies!
