I am trying to install a CD-ROM but when I click install when the CD opens with autoplay, a message comes up saying:
"16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application"
It then has two options: "Close" and "Ignore".
I have tried close but that does exactly what it says and closes it, and I have tried clicking ignore, it then says it's loading but does nothing.
I have left it for 15 minutes and still nothing.
Any ideas how I can rectify this?
Thanks x

You may have to try to locate the actual installer program on the CD and run is seperately, possibly in compatibility mode.
