Cactus

Anybody ever had a cactus before? I bought one a couple weeks ago and it told me to water it then leave it until the soil became bone dry... well the soil gets bone dry every single day. I come home from work... the soil is dry, doesn't even stick to my sweaty hands. SO do I water it every single day? Or leave it for a few days?

    Leave it dude. I've tried to look after cactus but only ever killed 'em. I think you should just not water it...

    Cactus' store water for like months an years init, so its just soaking up an storing what you give it, tricking you into giving it more.

    Someone once gave my cousin a cactus, she said it was the most butt ugly plant she'd ever seen, but she didn't have the heart to throw it in the bin so instead she stuffed it on top of the wardrobe at the back and left it to die. (I know, I don't know how that's better than binning it either!)

    About a year later she was moving house and went to clear stuff off the top of the wardrobe. Yep, there it was, long since forgotten and still alive! :lol:
