Ooo, that sounds dark and depressing

Why does the last hour... half hour... god forbid the last 10 minutes of work always seem to take so long. I swear 10 minutes turns into 40. Anybody else that way?

No kidding. Alot of people come in between 6-7am so they get out long before I do, then everybody else is in the back doing the evening/night work and I'm up here all alone, being bored... watching the clock so now its going to last twice as long damnit.

I find that the last half hour doesn't go slow. On a Thursday it goes very quick. The first half hour on a Monday goes very slow though...

The last hour for me just flies by at the moment. It is the shortest session at school so I try and get what I would in a normal session in, with all the stupid admin-y stuff and I never get through everything :(

The last hour needs to be extended by 10 minutes.

I don't get it. If there's nothing for you to do, why don't you go home?

I thought she meant the last hour of her working day! Not the last hour of her teaching time. I thought she meant admin stuff that she has to do after the kids have gone home, not actually admin with the kids there.

10 minutes a day adds up, thats almost an hour a week, 4 hours a month... Every minute counts for my bank account!
Plus if I left 10 minutes early early every day, I would only get to do it 2 days as I'd be fired after that.
Plus I have tons to do. There is always work to be done, its just a matter of whether I actually do it or not.

Yes, so that I can finish teaching them! The last session is just too short.

However, I am being "mean mrs m" this week

Yeah, like the homework, the notices like "remember your dinner money" or whatever. These things take far too long :(
