orange tones to hair

ok so i stripped my hair.. again.. suprisingly this time it doesnt feel dry probably because i had a hair cut recently and all the frazzled bits got cut off. then i dyed it a semi-permanent light brown colour. trouble is its gingery, its got really orange/yellow undertones in the light. i'v read that using a blue-toned/violet toned dye will counteract this. so what semi-permanent, light-brownish shade can i use to fix it?!

Your best bet is to use maybe an ash blonde or light brown with no honey tones in it.

i had this when i used to use semi-permanents. not had it with permanent colours.

i'd take the lacymay ash-tones advice, but to be honest, if your hair is yellowy underneath, you can use all the semi-permanent dyes you want, it'll still have yellowy tinges.
